Greetings,
When people ask me what kind of art I do, I typically tell them it is easier to show you than to describe it to you. I characterize it as Iconic Metal married to Reclaimed Wood. I did my first piece (Called Double Trouble) for myself several years ago. Everyone that came over and saw the piece admired it and asks me where I got it. All were surprised to learn that I made it. After a corporate transition and praying about “What Comes Next?” I thought… I will make a few of these and sell them while looking for another position. As people gravitated to the pieces, and they began to sell, I thought… Well… Let’s give this a try and see how it goes.
Creating a website, establishing a retail network and taking the products to the Dallas Market all happened in 2014. Sales are growing as people find out about my work. I have had the opportunity to do custom large pieces for C-Spire (A cellular telephone Giant) in their Oxford Location. Been privileged to present one to the Governor of MS, only to have him use it in a speech before the MS Economic Council. I have been written up in magazines, done TV interviews and in September 2014, got the opportunity to have my work be used and get to film on NBC’s new hit show “Fix it & Finish It” staring Antonio Sabato Jr.
I have had an opportunity to design and build awards used in the Music Industry. The first recipient of the Hill Country Music Awards, which I designed, is none other than Rock & Roll Legend, Jerry Lee Lewis (the Killer). Click through the MEDIA tab to see some of these things.
You can find my art in finer retailers throughout the south and also order online. For regular updates follow me on Facebook. Thank you for taking time to view my website. I appreciate your business and support.
Sincerely,
John
